TMC in Review
Looking back on the American Trucking Association’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Fall Meeting & Exhibition earlier this month, all we can say is, “What a fantastic event!”
TMC welcomed 2,900 attendees, featured 250 exhibitors, and hosted 120 technical sessions, making it the American trucking industry’s premier technology event. Exhibitors included major OEMs, such as Autocar, Daimler, International, Isuzu, Kenworth, Mack, Peterbilt, and Volvo. It also included a broad range of suppliers, including Bendix, BorgWarner, Bosch, Bridgestone, Continental, Michelin, Mitsubishi, ZF, and of course, SafeRide Technologies.
In addition to exhibiting, SafeRide shared two major announcements at TMC. First, we unveiled vInsight™ Fleet, our new AI-based data analytics solution for commercial fleets. vInsight Fleet uses state-of-the art machine learning and deep learning technology to provide predictive capabilities and operational insights that were not available to fleets in the past.
Second, we announced a partnership with Traffilog. Traffilog is a leading provider of telematics, advanced diagnostics, and predictive maintenance services for commercial fleets. Traffilog will integrate vInsight Fleet into their platform to provide their fleet customers with the predictive capabilities and operational insights that vInsight Fleet offers.
This was our first in-person event since early 2020, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We had some very interesting discussions with many of the OEMs and suppliers, and there was a significant interest in vInsight Fleet.
We’re looking forward to additional in-person events later this year, and of course, TMC’s Annual Meeting in Orlando next March.
