vSentry™ AI – the SafeRide solution for anomaly detection, that won the TU Automotive award for best AI/Data product in 2019, has been strengthened even further and is gaining traction with multiple OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers worldwide.

At CES on January 7th-10th 2020, we are proud to demonstrate, in collaboration with NXP Semiconductors, a new AI-based solution: vSentry™ Edge AI – an embedded behavioral profiling and anomaly detection solution for connected vehicles, designed for vehicle network processors.

vSentry Edge AI uses advanced machine learning and deep learning technology to establish the normal behavior of the vehicle, without dependencies on previous knowledge of the vehicle system’s properties and protocols. Customers can execute the easy-to-use and fully automated training mode at multiple points across the vehicle development lifecycle beginning with synthetic data generated from early-stage functional models and software-in-loop all the way to training based upon measured data from hardware-in-the-loop, and full vehicle development fleets.

Normal behavior is iteratively refined and verified to comply with system requirements and is correlated with the digital twin. During this iterative process, and post start of production,  the machine learning models accurately detect, categorize, and flag any abnormal behavior and report it in real-time. Embedded in the central vehicle gateway, vSentry Edge AI monitors all the in-vehicle communications, including control signals and sensors data.

Based on SafeRide’s vXRay™ AI technology, and combined with NXP’s vehicle network processor, vSentry Edge AI delivers real-time advanced vehicle health monitoring capabilities and provides valuable insights for OEMs on cybersecurity, predictive maintenance and vehicle performance.

We will demonstrate vSentry Edge AI at the NXP booth in CES, and at the Genivi Event at the Bellagio hotel on Tuesday:

  • NXP booth: CES Central Plaza Booth CP-18, Jan 7th-10th, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Genivi event: Bellagio Hotel, Grand Ballroom 2 & 5, Jan 7th, 6:00 – 9:00 PM

At the Genivi event we will also demonstrate vSentry™ CAN Optimizer – a Machine Learning based data compression solution for CAN data. CAN Optimizer dramatically reduces the cost of CAN data upload to the cloud by providing 96% reduction in data size without any data loss.

We will demonstrate CAN Optimizer integrated with the NXP vehicle network processor, and with STMicroelectronics Telemaco3P Telematics solution.

We will also demonstrate vSentry™ Core – a multilayer cybersecurity software for Linux-based connected ECUs, at the Automotive Grade Linux (AGL)

  • AGL booth: Westgate Pavilion, Smart Cities booth 1815, Jan 7th-10th, 9:00 AM –
    6:00 PM

And finally, Gil Reiter – SafeRide’s vice president of product management and marketing will be speaking at the Connect2Car conference at CES about vehicle data-enabled services

  • Connect2CAR: LVCC, North Hall N258, Tuesday Jan 7th 1:00-2:00 PM
