Senior Program Manager & FAE Lead

About The Position

As the Senior Program Manager & FAE Lead for Vehicle Health Management (FAE-VHM), you will work closely with a diverse group of technical experts to bring the SafeRide vInsight family of products and services to customers in North America. You will receive a thorough specialized training and understanding of SafeRide products and services for deployment scenarios. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their use-case / needs and to ensure the proper SafeRide technical solution is presented to help solve their problems. The successful candidate will also manage key customer program timing milestones and deliverables and provide technical feedback and suggestions to the core SafeRide Data Science and Software Development teams to optimize and continuously improve the company’s technology offerings. 


In this role, you will: 

  • Partner with sales executives to provide technical aspects of the go to market implementation and customer account management of complex products
  • Conduct product demonstrations, implementations, trainings, and technical support to customers.
  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed technical solutions related to predictive and prognostic maintenance development tools and embedded software
  • Manage customer program timing plans to satisfy key milestones and deliverables
  • Work in multiple levels of the technology stack (e.g. data science, embedded software, embedded hardware, telematics, vehicle gateways, vehicle maintenance systems)
  • Create custom reporting and integrations with customer/partner technical stack via API

Work closely with the VHM Data Science team and software engineering team to interface directly with customers to understand their technical requirements and use-case needs; work with the cross-functional team to deploy and implement solutions

Requirements

  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years+ experience working with customers in application engineering and support capacity of a complex technical products sold into automotive OEMs, commercial vehicle OEMs, Tier1s, and/or fleet operators in North America.
  • Experience and technical knowledge/expertise regarding data analytics, machine learning, and automotive embedded systems and related development tools.
  • Previous hands-on experience with customer evaluations and deployments of highly technical products

Additional nice-to-have knowledge & experience:

  • Experience and technical knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance, fleet management systems, telematics, and/or diagnostic tools and/or related engineered products/services. (e.g. J-1939, ATA/TMC Recommended Practices, VMRS codes)

·      Knowledge of and former participation in the ATA/TMC (American Trucking Association / Technology Maintenance Council)

Education:

·      B.Sc. / M. Sc. / PhD in Computer Science or equivalent disciplines related to Embedded Software, Data Science, Data Acquisition, Data Management, Telecom, Diagnostics, Vehicle Maintenance, Fleet Management, and/or related fields of engineering)
